The 23rd International AIDS Conference will take place virtually from July 6 to July 10, 2020 with pre-conference events beginning June 30.  Throughout AIDS 2020 there will be free events that are open to everyone as well as events for those with conference registration.

This guide was compiled by San Francisco AIDS Foundation to highlight the work of scientists, service providers, artists, and advocates in the San Francisco Bay Area. If you would like to add your event, please contact

Events in the Global Village are free and open to the public. No conference registration is required. However, you will be required to create a conference account to access the Global Village.  This includes providing a name and email address, using a verification code that will be sent to your email address, creating a password, and agreeing to the terms and conditions.  You only need to do all this once; on subsequent visits you will just need to enter your email address and password.
